hola! como estan! So this week was super cool! It went by super fast, I cannot believe its monday again. Although I had a nice eventful week I cant really remember anything...puchika that always happens! On saturday night there was a stake young mens slash young women's activity and all the missionaries in San Felipe got to go! It was super cool! I loved it! It was a cultural night and every ward and/or branch prepared a dance from another country and had the traditional dresses with the hair and makeup all did up pretty, the whole works! San Martin did a dance from Panama! super cool. They covered every country in central america, I got some pictures from barrio Brillantes who were Mexico just for Max! and because I love Mexico. It was super fun because there were tons of people there and it was really well organized and successful. I was screaming and dancing the entire time. Im sure everyone in the stake was like who invited the crazy gringa. but hey the entire San Felipe stake already knows me so its fine. and we were able to bring investigators and they loved it! the bishop piled us all in the back of his pickup to San Felipe. wahoo.
today was like the worlds best pday! first and foremost, I LOVE my zone. Best zone of all time, we are a family and i love each one of them like a brother or sister. In the morning we went to Reu with zona reu and zona Mazate. we all just happened to meet in the chapel in my first area Tzununa where I was for 6 months. so instead of hanging out with the missionaries, I went to visit some old members and my old converts. It was so cool! The members all remembered me and gave me huge hugs and it was so special, seriously it was so cool! of course I stopped by Carmen and Robertos house. Remember them?? My BEST converts of my mission besides the Tem Perez family. Roberto wasn't home so I talked to Carmen and his mom and they said that HIS MISSION CALL CAME! They told me that he was going to open it on Wednesday and that he said that he wanted me to be there. but I told them that changes are on wednesday and I probably wont be able to come because I don't know where I will be. So they changed it to TOMORROW!! AT 5. Luckily I was with my zone leader. El Mexicano elder Medina, aka like my best friend in the mission. so he worked everything out so that I can go tomorrow to watch him open his mission call. He got baptized October 19 of last year. almost exactly one year later he has his mission call. SO COOL! i am so happy! I cannot wait until tomorrow! tomorrow at 5 may or may not be the happiest moment of my life  thus far. I love Roberto! So after that the zone went to Presidents house to play sand volleyball and eat yummy expensive food thats NOT beans and tortillas because our zone broke the zone record for baptisms this months. did I mention that my zone ROCKS! and that we saw a butt ton of miracles this month!! it must be the 40 day fast we are doing with the members.
Alright well I love you lots! ill let you know if I have changes or not, i find out tomorrow. I probably do. its almost guaranteed. I love San Martin. its going to kill me to leave, I am SO attached. love you to the moon and back! xoxoxo. besos.
love.

Ear piercing
 Mallito, Luis, and Kevin Dominguez

soooo I got really sick this week, I don't know what I had, Zenteno told me it was dengue, but I’m better now so no worries there. I got to talk to hermana Zenteno because she is the new mission nurse (thats companion number 3 of Hermana Outsen to become the mission nurse) and it made me so slap happy, I love her so much! She is my number one favorite human on the planet besides you mom.
um... my roommate had a mid mission crisis this week. One morning she just struts into my room with a sewing needle and half of an apple and says, Outsen, pierce my ears! After drawing dots on each ear with a sharpie we managed to get the needle all the way through her left ear, but then the earring wouldn't go through. crap. It was quite the experience. I guess now I know that I can never work at Claires.
We ran out of toilet paper on Sunday and we cant buy things on sunday because of that whole dia de reposo rule so we are using notebook paper because thats what Guatemalans do.
Today we played paintball as a zone and then we sang Karaoke, It was fun.
yesterday we had a conseje de estaca with all the missionaries in San Felipe, the leaders of every ward, president Ruiz, and the stake presidency. It was super long but I learned a lot! estaca San Felipe is going to do great things in the next few years. My zone sang a special musical number and we sounded awesome! its probably because we are like almost all gringos so we´re NOT tone deaf.
On Saturday we had a baptism! They are incredible! We love them! We found them right before conference and they came and once they listened to the prophet they were sold! good stuff.
Alright well, I’m still in San Martin. The members have a new nickname for me, they all call me hermana Jefa which means boss. They told me that they are building a house for me on the corner right by the church because I’m basically just part of San Martin at this point. They are not used to having missionaries here for longer than 3 months... ha ha
well, I love you lots! Miss you tons! hugs, kisses, exito.

hello! whats up! So I am super pumped up for October! We had a zone council and came up with tons of kick butt plans to get everyone that came to conference baptized in October and IM SO EXCITED! I may or may not have had an Im so sick of San Martin ive been here for forever attack but now Im over it and I love my zone so its whatever.
One of our plans for October is a 40 day fast! We made a list of all the people that came to conference that the missionaries are teaching. Our zone covers 4 wards and we each chose 10 families to participate and every family is going to take a day and fast and we handed out the list so that they can pray and fast for each person by name. So we will have 40 days straight of a family in the stake fasting for these people. Its going to be such a great way to unite the members with the missionaries and Im really excited about it!
Two of the investigators that we brought to conference are getting baptized on Saturday! Luis and Kevin, they are cool. We love them! Today we went to Mazate and played volleyball with zona Mazate and went shopping in the marcado and ate at taco bell, Mazate is HUGE it freaks me out. okay well I love you lots! I hope you have a great week! Brillando en Brillantes!

love

funny story! so today I left my shoes on the beach then went to play frisbee with my zone. De repente a big wave came up and took my shoes! so the ocean ate my shoes! mala onda. So Elder jorgensen gave me his socks, and Elder Medina gave me his shoes and I have been walking around all day like this, I look really dumb huh.

so on Wednesday we go over the bishops house for lunch and he struts out wearing this shirt! I don't know if you cant see it but it says Kazakhstan and has the kazak flag on it. ha ha ha what the... who knows where he found that! miss ya alex!!
MUCHO GUSTO BABY MAE!!! SHE IS SO ADORABLY PRECIOUS A LA GRAN!! I cant wait to meet her! I WANT MORE PICTURES SEND ME MORE PICTURES! I love her! she's so cute! thats really exciting!

Well this week I was with my zone everyday doing area attacks and inviting the entire planet to conference and doing other zone unity things. We are just like a little family. it is unreal how close my zone is, its the best I love them! So... about conference. I didn't get the chance to sit down, listen, and enjoy conference. big bummer! I was so stressed out this week because the mission put a lot of pressure on the whole its conference weekend bring everyone in Guatemala to conference thing. I don't know about all the other missionaries in the world, but for Hermana Outsen Sundays are super mega stressful and conference weekend is just like 4 sundays packed into 2 days. We made the agreement as a zone that we couldn't go to conference unless we brought investigators. Me and Hermana Escoto had the blessing of attending all 4 sessions of conference but I didn't get to watch it in english because I didn't want to ditch my investigators and I was running around trying to make sure everyone was happy and settled in the whole time. So i just decided I am going to study each talk when the ensign comes out. but for the bits and snippets I did get the chance to watch I was very pleased!. As a zone we were able to bring 42 people between us 6 companionships and 2 elders only had 3 days in their area because they just opened it, so it was all worth it! brillando! granted our goal was 82.... ha ha its fine. we´ll get em next year. pero bueno. today we went to the beach!! SO FUN! SO PRETTY! We had a sandcastle competition and my team won. duh. Here is a pic. enjoy. congrats on the newest member of the family! I cant wait to meet her!
